Jim Olmstead, Owner
I started my career as a handyman and then worked my way up to a custom homebuilder. Over the course of the years, I learned a great deal about the importance of providing high quality work while also maintaining superior customer service.
Using my knowledge and the support of others, I decided it was time to change direction, combine our 60 plus years of experience and create American Hardwoods; a unique kitchen and millwork shop that provides custom work with competitive pricing. Our commitment to make you feel as though we are family sets us apart from our competitors and leads to stress free projects for our clients.
Since we make our own moldings in-house, we can save customers 30-50% on trim for the whole home - we don’t know of any other kitchen shop able to offer this service. Another unique feature is our ability to duplicate most any trim profile in any species of wood.
